Project Background
The historic Smith, Follet and Crowl warehouse building (also known as the Knights Formal Wear building) has been renovated into a mixed use building, called “The Lofts on Roberts”.
The first floor includes the Silver Moon restaurant while the upper three floors host 21 apartments including efficiencies and one bedrooms. These unique apartments showcase brick walls, exposed wood beam ceilings, original wood posts, very large windows and have a unique 90 year old urban feel.
The building has secured entrances and offers easy access to Broadway through the new 300 Broadway building.
The Lofts on Roberts building is located very near the two buildings now owned by NDSU as part of their downtown campus expansion. The Lofts offers attractive living spaces for students attending classes at NDSU downtown and young professionals working downtown.
The Kilbourne Group has preserved most of the historical features of The Lofts on Roberts building.
